  • Explain the unique challenges, impairments and markets for radio based communications
  • Describe high speed WWAN services, technologies and applications
  • Discuss the roles and performance characteristics of antennas and wireless networks
  • Describe the operation of cellular and private radio systems
  • Discuss the challenges of developing or emerging high speed wireless solutions
  • Setup a Radio Frequency device and configure it for PTP or PTMP

English will be the teaching language for this course.

GCSE, A Levels with a minimum of B in mathematics and Physics and at least a C in other relevant subjects including English language.
Although no prerequisite courses are required, experience or previous course work in networking and wireless basics is beneficial.
